Admission :
Admission to different courses (B.Tech) of the University(BPUT) shall be based on criteria decided by the Academic Council of the University(BPUT). There shall be provision for direct admission for a limited number of NRI/FN students. Details of criteria shall be as per provisions in the rule formulated for the purpose. The University(BPUT) shall adopt the eligibility criteria as specified by AICTE/UGC
Admissions shall ordinarily close before a specified period from the date of commencement of the first semester instruction, through a notification.

The candidate must have completed 12 years of schooling, equivalent of the Intermediate School Certificate of India (i.e., +2 level of Indian states) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in the last two years of schooling.
It is mandatory for all candidates to appear in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Biju Patnaik University Technology, Rourkela or All India Engineering Entrance Examination(AIEEE) conducted by CBSE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi. |
