Eklavya Global Scholars’ Program (GSP) is a dedicated mentorship program designed to assist first-generation learners from historically disadvantaged groups in pursuing quality higher education abroad. During its pilot phase in the year 2022-2023, we collaborated with over 60 emerging scholars over the course of a year. The pilot has resulted in overwhelming success, and 40 out of 60 scholars have gained admission to top-tier universities including the University of Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia, LSE and others. Many of these scholars have been shortlisted for prestigious fully-funded scholarships, and we anticipate that 50% of these scholars will receive funding support. This year, we are expanding our program to include STEM disciplines and aim to target universities worldwide accordingly.
