Students registration at Eklavya
Eklavya is a movement aims improve access to quality education and opportunities and enable grassroots leadership among rural and marginalized youth. We do it by providing mentorship, training, and guidance to first-generation learners from rural and marginalized communities to help them get admission into premier Higher Education Institutes (HEI) and development fellowships. In the last 4 years our intervention helped 350+ students to get into premier institutes of higher education and prestigious fellowships (Example TISS, APU, IITs, Central Universities, ISDM, Gandhi Fellowship, Teach for India Fellowship, Goonj Fellowship, SBI YFI Fellowship etc). Using higher education as a tool we aim to enable leadership from grassroots.
We run following programs for our student:
Workshop (Online and offline):
- For awareness and orientation about opportunities of higher education and career
Mentor connect:
- We connect you with mentors matching your career interest. Mentor can guide you in your journey education and career
Admission preparation :
- We run preparatory crash course (online & offline) for the preparation of entrance exams of premier institutes in social sciences. It includes preparation for entrance of UG and PG programs of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Azim Premji University, Central Universities (CUET), National Law Universities (CLAT) and other premier colleges and universities in India. Student also provided with mentors from respective institutes for one to one mentoring. Offline course happens at our center in Yavatmal, Maharashtra.
Bridge course (Online):
- Specially designed for 12th students or undergraduate degree aspirants to help them to make informed choices about their career after 12th. We provide awareness about different career fields, one to one mentoring, career planning, career counselling, admission updates, admission support, hostels and scholarship support and perspective building
Fellowship preparation:
- For the preparation of fellowships in social sector we provide support in application and interviews by engaging mentors from respective fellowships
Online sessions:
- We regularly organize online sessions on different education and career opportunities
Information:
- Regular updates on opportunities related to admissions, entrance exams, internships, job and fellowships. Through telegram and WhatsApp group
Networking support:
- Internship connection, job connection and reference.
